The Bellavista Alma Assemblage Franciacorta Extra Brut is made from a solid base of Chardonnay grapes (86%), combined with 13% Pinot Noir and 1% Pinot Blanc.
Approximately 30% of the vintage wine is aged in small oak barrels, and a certain percentage of reserve wine from previous harvests is also used in the preparation of the sparkling base wine.
The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, combined with at least 30 months of aging on the lees before disgorgement and the final dosage as an Extra Brut, with 3.5 g/l of residual sugar.
Upon visual inspection, the Bellavista 'Alma Assemblage 1' Franciacorta Extra Brut displays a bright straw yellow color with a fine and persistent effervescence.
The complex aromatic bouquet is defined by sensations of citrus, flowers, and aromatic herbs, enhanced by nuances of bakery and baked goods.
The palate is creamy and elegant, characterized by a dynamic and taut progression that rests on a balanced mineral finish.
